Let me sit out with the place, the restaurant is nice and clean and open. Very good ambience with friendly and good customer service.. waitress is attentive. Now onto the food. I tried the barrier tacos and they're pretty good, and compared to other place I had I would give this a 4/5. My friend chance ever dishes so we share and the bean your rice is good.. the corn lotte was OK a little bit bland and could use some more flavor. The tamale was good. I will come back again to try other dishes.
amazing food every time . I love the birria with the elota's so fire , the customer service beans on point as well , they kept our glasses full and that's a plus in my book . Definitely a hidden gem in Woodbury .
My wife and I enjoyed this small restaurant in Woodbury. The chips and salsa for the table are good and unique. The street taco menu has great variety and decent value. I liked that it allowed for ordering exactly as much food as we wanted. The cocktail menu was a bit uninspired, so I opted for water. Service was excellent.
This restaurant is busy! We went to try the 21 inch taco and it was different. They added cotija cheese inside, tastes more alfresco than the street taco. Grilled onions and peppers as well. My daughter ordered birria and that was yummy. They offered red sauce and green sauce, but nothing spicy like habanero sauce. Otherwise this restaurant has a good vibe. A live singer in the back and colorful walls. Nice bar on the opposite side of the booths.
I tried this for the first time after seeing some food accounts posting about it on TikTok. And since I recently moved to the area and love Mexican food, I had high hopes. We started with the chori queso and it was cheesy goodness. I would've liked a little more chorizo but it was good nonetheless. I ordered the chicken fajitas and they were marinaded well. The chips and salsa that they bring out was not good. The chips were good but the salsa had a horrible vinegar taste. We asked the server if they had other salsas and they did. They have an avocado salsa and a salsa verde. They are both delicious and I will ask for those next time I go. The server was ok, I would've liked someone a little more engaging and friendly. But I will try again and hope for better service next time since the food was good.
My first time here was such a blast! We stopped in for apps and drinks at the bar after enjoying a girls day. Otto was so friendly, funny, and nice, he absolutely made our night! Can't wait for next time. Do NOT miss the signature machete style tacos or the margaritas on the rocks, my favorite was Pineapple!
Okay Woodbury! This will be our new go to spot when in the area. Live music was awesome, the decor is a total vibe. Our waitress was awesome. I wanted a NA michelada and she suggested I have it with sparkling water I was hesitant but it was equally as delicious. The birria tacos were good and the flautas were delicious.
